So our business cards came through, and they weren’t up to our expectations - the GSM (paper stock thickness) was lower than what we ordered, which caused the print quality to appear slightly off and the edges were damaged. We got in touch about the issues and they offered to rectify the problem. Albeit they look good, they just aren’t what we were looking for - so it gives us a chance to rectify the design. As with these kind of print companies there is never the option for a test print, and a design you see on screen is not always indicative of what the final outcome will look like when printed. So it turned out to be a good thing, because we have been able to make extra amendments that we wouldn’t have had the chance to do so before. Silver linings and all that!
The new design will be very similar, with a couple of small tweaks, on a thicker GSM and also laminated - which we hope will result in a more sturdy, appealing business card that we will be happy to hand out here, there and everywhere!
